If you’re like me, you typically have a bunch of items in your cart or on your “to-do” list to restock. I rounded up a few of my favorites just in time for Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days on October 10-11, 2023.
Beauty
Murad skincare has some of the best products for dark spot repair and pore corrector (in a sunscreen too!). I recommend shopping their line and purchasing a tester-size of anything you’re curious about trying. It comes in sizes of 0.33 fl oz or a larger size of 1 fluid ounce.
My other favorite product from Murad is a lightweight face moisturizer: Murad Oil & Pore Reducing Facial Moisturizer – Acne Control Mattifier with Broad Spectrum SPF 45.
I’m also a fan of Biossance. If you’re not familiar with their products, the gift sets are a great way to dip your toe in. I’ve been using the Squalane and Marine Algae Eye Cream, Squalane and Vitamin C Rose Oil, and hydrating face serum, Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum.
Makeup Remover Wipes: These makeup wipes by Neutrogena are my favorite Cleansing Fragrance Free Makeup Remover Face Wipes. They’re effective at night. You can follow with a shower if you planned to do so. They also come in smaller, travel packs which saves you weight in your suitcase when traveling.
Random, helpful organizational items
My car is a bit older and it has a…gasp…CD player. So I carry CD’s in my car. I recently purchased this CD/ DVD Case Holder 96 Capacity – Hard Plastic Storage Binder for Car, Home Office, Travel.
If you’re not regularly cleaning your water bottles in a dishwasher, you need to have a cleaning brush set. You can get a cute one that sits out on the counter near the sink or this one by BlenderBottle 2-in-1 Shaker Bottle and Straw Cleaning Brush that just gets the job done.

Halloween Home Decor
I’m trying to be selective about how many holiday decorations we accumulate. I thought this whimsical outdoor decoration was a good addition, Outdoor Garden Halloween Tree Bark Face Decoration. Looks legit terrifying especially for a tree that might be something trick-or-treaters need to pass by to get to your front door.
IMO, this is the best dog Halloween costume that gets multiple occasions to wear for football games: Pets First MLB Tee Shirt for Dogs . There are at least 35 team jerseys to choose from. Rizzo, pictured here almost two years old, is a 65 lb golden retriever wearing a size Large. It frequently flips up like a crop top, but hey, when you got a great bod, flaunt it while you can.
